A friendly place for those with dementia to have a relaxing social time together.
First Thursday of every month, 2-4pm at Christ Church Centre. The Cafe is organised by Judith West.
The Dementia Cafe is for anyone with dementia and their carers, family members and/or friends or anyone who would like to find out more about dementia.
We give information to carers and at the same time provide a safe, friendly place for those with dementia to have a relaxing social time together. It's led by people who understand the difficulties of both those with dementia and those caring for them.
The format is:
- Musical entertainment or a short talk
- Tea and homemade cakes
- Activities of various kinds
There is a £2 charge per person. More information from Judith West.
