We have three main services on Sundays: 9:00am Holy Communion | 10:45am Morning praise | 6:00pm SIXPM. They each have a different style, so we hope one will suit your way of worshipping and that you'll feel comfortable.

How do I find the church?
Christ Church Chislehurst is located in the heart of Chislehurst close to Chislehurst railway station and the Chislehurst Caves. For directions to the church, click here.
Is there plenty of parking?
There's parking in front of the church (including two disabled bays), and another small car park downhill in Porrington Close. Parking in the road is possible, though at very busy services you may have a bit of a walk as we need to leave plenty of space either side of neighbours' drives.
Is there disabled access to the Church?
All areas in the Church Centre can be reached by those with special access needs: there are ramps, a lift and toilets either end of the Centre with wide doors (these toilets also have baby change facilities). There's also a hearing loop as part of our sound system.
What should I wear?
When you come to Christ Church, we want you to feel comfortable and at ease. You will see adults and children wearing everything from jeans and t-shirts to suits and ties so please don't feel you need to "dress up"; just come as you are.
What happens when I arrive?
We're on the look out for new faces to welcome, but sometimes we miss them. So if no one immediately says 'hello, welcome to Christ Church', please make yourself known to one of the Welcome Team at the doors. Feel free to sit wherever you think you'll be most comfortable.
What is there for my babies, toddlers, children or teenagers?
During Morning Praise which starts at 10.45am, there's a separate programme depending on age:
Babies and toddlers under 3 (ages 0-3) | Gems (Kidz Church) |
3 year olds - pre-school (ages 3-5) | Pebbles (Kidz Church) |
School years reception-2 (ages 5-7) | Rock Solid (Kidz Church) |
School years 3-5 (ages 7-10) | Boulder Gang (Kidz Church) |
Years 6-13 (ages 11-18) | Engage |
Do I need to bring any money?
During the service we take up an offering from our regular congregation which goes either to Christ Church or to one of the organisations whoes mission of Christian compassion we support.
Please don't feel obliged to contribute if you are visiting. However, if you do decide to give, then place your gift in the bag as it comes round. If you are a UK tax payer, you may want to use one of our yellow envelopes on the Welcome Desk so we can reclain the Gift Aid. If you would like to give regularly, there are further details on our Financial Giving page.
What if want to receive prayer?
If you would like someone to pray with you about any issue, make your way to the front of the church at the end of the 10:45am service. If you would like someone to listen and pray with you in confidence at any time please contact Dave Johnston or Penny Russell Ross.
Are refreshments served?
We serve refreshments between the two morning services - the cafe is open between 10am and 10.35am; and then again before the evening service when refreshements are available from 5.45pm. This gives a chance to chat, visit our book shop and look at other displays.
