We are pleased to announce that the Reverend Dave Johnston has been appointed as the new vicar of Christ Church. In a strong field of four shortlisted candidates Dave demonstrated a real sense of God's calling for the work here at Christ Church and a clear vision of the next phase of the Church's development. We look forward to working with Dave to realise this vision in bringing people to faith in our Lord Jesus Christ here at Christ Church, in a loving and caring community. We are sure you will all want to pass on your personal congratulations to Dave over the coming days and welcome him into the Church as the new vicar. Details of his institution are currently being discussed with the Archdeacon and will be announced once plans have been finalised. We have felt God's guidance throughout this selection process and thank you all for your constant prayer during this time.
