Frequently Asked Questions
Why do members of the CCC Facebook Group need to be 18 or older?
At Christ Church the safety of children and young people online is something we take seriously. We want to create safe and secure online spaces for young people and leaders to interact. Therefore we encourage all young people to become a 'friend' of Engage Youthwork so that they can interact with leaders and be kept up to date with events. For more information about how to stay safe online, go to the CEOP's thinkuknow website.
I'm confused! Website, email updates, Facebook Group, Facebook Page, Twitter? What's the difference?
At Christ Church Chislehurst (CCC) we offer a number of different ways to keep you up-to-date with what's going on and for you to engage with other Christ Church regulars to meet your personal communication preferences. The following table shows the differences:
For CCC regulars only | For public and CCC regulars | |||
---|---|---|---|---|

Who can see what I'm posting or commenting on in the Facebook Group?
Only members of the CCC Facebook Group can see what you're posting or commenting on, not everyone on Facebook nor your Facebook friends. We deliberately have made this a closed Facebook Group to create a trusted environment where members can feel free to share prayer requests and other personal information.
Do I need to have a Facebook account to join the Facebook Group?
Yes, you need to have a Facebook account. If you don't already have one, you can sign up to Facebook via the Facebook home page.
